These terms apply when you book an appointment with Bollywood Beauty Salon Incthrough this website or our booking app.

Booking an appointment

When you book online you are requesting a time. The salon confirms it. In almost every case the time you chose is the time you get, but occasionally a stylist’s day changes and we will contact you to arrange another.

Same-day appointments can be booked up to one hour before the slot. Earlier times are not offered because the salon needs notice to prepare.

Appointment texts

Bollywood Beauty Salon sends appointment confirmations and appointment reminders by text message, from +1 (650) 379-0516. These are the only texts we send, apart from the one-time code when you sign in. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

You are signed up for these texts when you give us your mobile number — when you book online, at the front desk, over the phone, or through this website — and we tell you at that point that you will get confirmations and reminders by text.

How often you hear from us varies: you will only get messages about appointments you have booked. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply HELP to any of our texts for help, or call us at 650-938-2400. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts — this does not cancel an appointment you have already booked; call us if you need to change or cancel it.

Payment

You pay at the salon. We do not take payment online and we do not ask for card details on this website or in the booking app. If anything claiming to be us asks you to pay online, it is not us.

Prices

Prices shown on this website are read directly from the salon’s own booking system, so what you see here is what the front desk charges.

Some services vary with hair length, thickness or condition, and the final price can differ from the starting price shown. Your stylist will tell you before starting, not after finishing. Prices can change; the price that applies is the one in effect on the day of your visit.

Eyebrow threading loyalty card

Pay for five eyebrow threadings and your sixth is free. Your count is tracked for you at the front desk, so there is no card to carry or lose. The count applies to eyebrow threading, is tied to your client record, and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.

Platinum Membership

$199 for 365 days of unlimited eyebrow threading, starting the day it is activated. It is valid at our Mountain View salon only and does not work at our Sunnyvale or Santa Clara location.

It covers eyebrow threading — the threading service, not the separate waxing service that is also called “Eyebrow” on our price list. Other threading and waxing services are charged normally.

There is genuinely no limit: come as often as you like, with no waiting period between visits. It also includes one complimentary Gold Facial — an $80 service — once each membership year.

The membership is for the named member only. If you have a membership photo, a staff member checks it against you at the counter on each visit. If you chose a PIN instead, the PIN has to be entered and verified before the membership price applies. Either way the membership cannot be shared with family or friends or transferred to anyone else. Threading visits covered by the membership do not count toward the eyebrow threading loyalty card above.

If you cancel, we refund what you paid less the value of the services you have already used, at normal prices. Once that value reaches $199 — about ten threading visits plus the facial — no refund is due. We never charge you for cancelling.

Platinum Elite Membership

$299 for 365 days of unlimited eyebrow and upper lip threading, starting the day it is activated. Valid at our Mountain View salon only — it does not work at our Sunnyvale or Santa Clara location.

Covers eyebrow and upper lip threading — the threading services, not the separate waxing services of the same names on the price list. Other threading and waxing services are charged normally.

There is genuinely no limit: come as often as you like, with no waiting period between visits. It also includes one complimentary Gold Facial — an $80 service — once each membership year.

The membership is for the named member only. For the named member only, checked by photo or PIN at the counter on each visit. It cannot be shared with family or friends or transferred to anyone else. Threading visits covered by the membership do not count toward the eyebrow threading loyalty card.

If you cancel, we refund what you paid less the value of the services you have already used, at normal prices. Once that value reaches $299 — about 13 threading visits plus the facial — no refund is due. We never charge you for cancelling.

Changing or cancelling

Please give us at least two hours’ notice if you need to change or cancel, by calling 650-938-2400. That is usually enough for us to offer the time to someone else, and it means your stylist is not left waiting.

If you booked within that two-hour window — same-day appointments can be made up to an hour beforehand — just call as soon as you know.

If you miss appointments repeatedly without telling us, we may ask you to book by phone in future rather than online. We would rather keep online booking open to everyone, so this is only for clients who regularly do not arrive.

If we have to change your appointment, we will contact you using the phone number or email address on your booking.

Arriving late

We will always try to fit you in, but a late arrival may mean a shorter service or a different time, because the stylist has clients after you.

Your responsibilities

Please give us accurate contact details — a wrong phone number means we cannot reach you if something changes. Tell your stylist about allergies, skin sensitivities, recent treatments or medical conditions that could affect a service, before it begins.

This website

We keep the information here accurate and up to date. Photographs on the site illustrate the services we offer; they are not a guarantee of a particular result, which depends on your hair and skin.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
